I will bind I will tangle my long black hair
With the waters so blue and the weather so fair
and the moment so dull with it's crimson hue
The pale emperor and the mood so blue
I won't dance I won't sing and my laugh shall be gone
I'll alarm every heart in her crown she will stray
I awoke from my dreaming
My love wouldn't stay
All portions of loving had all flown away
But she taught me to love her and promised to stay
and to cherish me over all others above
My poor heart is wandering
My misery can tell
I left with no warning no word of farewell
I won't dance I won't sing and my laugh shall be gone
I'll alarm every heart in her crown she will stray
I awoke from my dreaming
My love wouldn't stay
All portions of loving had all flown away
I live to see her regret life's dark hour
She's gone and neglected this pale wildwood flower

Sludge, Shoegaze, Atmospheric, Heavy Metal, Alt-metal, you name it. This album has it all, and it is perfect. It came out during a rough time period of my life and others lives too. It's been the soundtrack for all of my pain. Thank you Hum tawper

Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long.
